After configuration, this process is automated.
Yes. However, it is not your repricer (Sku Grid) that is connected to eBay API. It is a 3rd party WordPress plugin called WP-Lister that is connected to eBay API. It is used simply for the purpose of syncing your product inventory from your own WordPress website to eBay, which is allowed. WP-Lister is an established inventory syncing plugin.
You will not face the call usage limits that you incur using file exchange.
If you have or intend to have more than 25,000 items, this option will not be a good solution for you. WP-Lister, the WordPress plugin that does the sync to eBay, does not work properly with more items than that. eCom Syndicator would be a better choice for you if you want an automated solution.
No. Per eBay’s Developer API License Agreement, you cannot use software that revises your items based on changes on a competitor site for Seller Arbitrage. Per eBay’s User Agreement, you can use software to sync your inventory from your own website (which is what you are getting with WooHosted) to eBay and vice versa. That is all that is happening here, you are syncing changes from products on your own website to your eBay listings so that you can maintain accurate pricing/stock on both. This is called multi-channel selling.
Since WooHosted does not automatically add items into Sku Grid for you for tracking, you would have to add items individually yourself or import them into Sku Grid for tracking via CSV. Once added to Sku Grid, Sku Grid will create the WooCommerce Product for you to ensure it’s ability to track and sync with your eBay listing.
No. Sku Grid will continue checking your supplier for price/stock changes and updating your WooCommerce site according to your settings. The changes on your WooCommerce site would be synced to your eBay listing nearly instantly.
You do not have to leave your PC or browser on or remain logged into eBay for this process to work. Your items will continue to be updated.
Yes, if you force reprice the item as you’re fulfilling it in Sku Grid or automatically if you set up and use Orders Dash as well.
Not Automatically. It can, but that would involve a bit of work on your behalf. There is a way to bulk relist items that are in stock at the supplier but out of stock on your eBay listings. But you would then have to edit the item numbers in your grid so that the software can link to the appropriate item in your WooCommerce site. Good Til Cancelled (GTC) listings are therefore recommended.
No. WooHosted cannot handle multi variation items. If you have multi variation listings, you would need to use File Exchange, the Chrome Extension or eCom Syndicator.
No, they are not automatically removed from WooHosted. You would have to go in and send the item to trash under “Products” and Send to Archive under eBay Sync –> “Listings”. You would also need to manually delete the item from Sku Grid.
