FAQs

Most frequently asked questions and answers

After configuration, this process is automated.

Yes, it would require eBay API access in order to sync inventory.

You will not face the individual call usage limits that you incur using file exchange. Corporate keys and access are in place, but please note that sometimes the global call usage can be met, which would cause a temporary issue until eBay resets it at midnight Pacific Time.

This option is the best and most efficient for larger eBay accounts.

Yes. eCom Syndicator is an Approved application for eBay; hence the large call usage limits that we have and why having a large account is not a problem.

While eCom Syndicator is an approved eBay application, it is new, and we cannot predict whether or not eBay will have an issue with it in the future.

No. Sku Grid will continue checking your supplier for price/stock changes and updating your eCom Syndicator or 3rd party multi channel management site such as Selro or eCom Dash according to your settings.  The changes on your eCom Syndicator, Selro & eCom Dash site would be synced to your eBay listing nearly instantly.

You do not have to leave your PC or browser on or remain logged into eBay for this process to work. Your items will continue to be updated.

Yes, if you force reprice the items or use Orders Dash, these multi channel management options can update your sold items to default quantity (assuming they have not been ended).

No, at this time, they do not have this functionality. You would then have to relist on your own and  edit the item numbers in your grid so that the software can link to the appropriate item in your Multi-Channel Management site. Good Til Cancelled (GTC) listings are therefore recommended.

Yes, eCom Syndicator can handle multi variation listings. You need to be sure that you have added a unique Custom Label for each variation on eBay.

If you’re using eCom Syndicator, it can be set up to automatically add items that exist in eCom Syndicator but not Sku Grid. Those items would be paused and not have a supplier url.  You would then have to edit those entries, put in a supplier url and set pause repricing to No.

However, if you sell a mix of items that you want monitored by Sku Grid and ones you don’t, you should not enable that option in your settings.

Other options for adding your items include adding items individually or importing them via CSV file.
