We are happy to introduce AI Rewriting service in Sku Fetch via OpenAI. You’ve probably heard a lot of OpenAI and ChatGPT lately and we are glad to bring it to you for rewriting product titles and descriptions while listing products.
AI Rewrite is enabled for everybody, we do not charge any extra fees for it, we only charge whatever OpenAI charges for its API.
Let’s try it on one of the products from Walmart.
As you can see this product has very small description.
Let’s click “Run AI Rewrite”
Here you have an option to choose different prompts for the AI, each prompt will produce different results. The maximum cost to do a request is $0.08, but usually it’s about one cent. Choose the config and click Run.
We will wait a little bit for OpenAI to return generated results.
Depending on the config you can rewrite title or description or both.
As you can see we got a very detailed description and that’s for the item that had only one sentence in its description! If you want to use it, click the green checkmark.
Above the result you can see how much did it actually cost.
Now the product looks much more appealing!
You can add your own prompts for the OpenAI. Got to “Open AI Rewrite” settings.
Here you can top up your balance, click “Show Configs” and you will see a list of global prompts plus your private prompts, if you have defined any.
Click “Add Config” and let’s create some sample prompt. The more text prompt has, the more expensive it is to run it. OpenAI calculates the price based on number of words both on input and on the output.
Just write prompt in a simple language, nothing special is required. Open AI also supports non-English prompts and will return you non-English results.
If you ask AI to create both title and description, make sure to check above both Title and Description, that way Sku Fetch will know that it needs to separate them in the response.
Let’s try out our new prompt.
Not bad! You can add virtually unlimited prompts, so go ahead and have some fun!
Make sure to proof read the response, sometimes OpenAI makes mistakes or adds extra words.
Let’s test it out with the product that has more information at the supplier.
Thanks for watching and enjoy OpenAI integration
